(Ursus arctos)

Hunting season: 15th of September - 30th of November, through the methods:
"battue", "still-hunting" and "spot and stalk hunting", 15th of September – 31st of December and 15th of March -14th of May, through the methods: "still-hunting" and "spot and stalk hunting".


A
) Individual hunting (spot and stalk hunting)
The trophy (fur) is measured immediately after skinning, before it is salted.
The above given charge represents the value of hunting, while the hunter is entitled to the raw fur and the prepared skull.

The charge for a wounded and unrecovered piece: 2,000 Euro
The charge for a missed shot: 275 Euro
Attendance charge for spot and stalk hunting / day / hunter: 300 Euro (includes the technical assistance service granted by a hunting specialist as well as the transportation within the hunting ground).

In case the same hunter shots more bears in the same day and within the same hunting ground, he will pay the attendance charge only once.
In case game is not ensured the charge is: 50 Euro / day / hunter.


B) The lump sum charge for shooting for collective hunting –
battue type, for a group of minimum 3 foreign hunters is: 6,500 Euro, indifferently of the harvested trophy.
In case 1 or 2 foreign hunters attend, the charges are equal to those from individual hunting.

) Attendance charge for a day of collective hunting – battue type, or for a mixed collective hunting, battue type for bears is 150 Euro / hunter.
This includes the technical assistance service granted by a hunting specialist as well as the transportation within the hunting ground).


D) The charge for a brown bear (male or female) that is wounded and unrecovered: 2,000 Euro
In case game is not ensured, it is to be paid a percentage of only 15% from the attendance charge for the respective day.

E) The minimum price for taking over upon request the meat of the shot game (gutted piece, skinned and without skull and fur) is: 5 Euro/kg


F
) In case the skull, due to its size fulfils the conditions to be retained within the national patrimony (over 65 points CIC), and the hunter wishes to take over the fur, he is to pay 70% from the charge calculated for the trophy (fur).

G) In case the fur, due to its size fulfils the conditions to be retained within the national patrimony (over 600 points CIC), and the hunter wishes to take over the skull, he is to pay 50% from the charge calculated for the trophy (fur).
